VEGGIES IN MAPLE GINGER STIR FRY SAUCE

Ingredients

1 pkg (750g) frozen stir fry vegetables

1 Tbsp olive oil

3 Tbsp soy sauce

4 Tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp sesame oil

1/4-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

2 Tbsp ginger finely grated

1 teaspoon corn starch


Directions

1.      In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, grated ginger and cornstarch.


2.      Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan or a wok over medium heat.


3.      Add pkg of frozen veg to the pan and cook 7-10 minutes, until veggies are tender but crisp.


4.      Add the stir fry sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through.


Serve over rice and top with protein of choice!
